Ever since I was a kid in summer camp, the outdoors have always been a happy place for me. Connecting with nature has helped to give me the balance and inner peace that many of us seek in our lives. It allows me to disconnect from the trials of everyday life and helps to simplify and minimize the worlds complexities while glorifying the natural beauty that surrounds us - such as a crystal clear rain drop clinging to a leaf.......
.......or the intoxicating sight of a high alpine lake.
Through my photos I strive to capture, interpret and share some of these visions and emotional experiences while I navigate through life. More than anything or anywhere else, I am truly in my element while I am hiking along a stream with a fishing rod in hand, a camera around my neck and the sounds of nature's flawless performance in the background.
From the Catskill Mountains of New York to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, it truly is a beautiful world.
